I was just on youtube and I ran a cross this comment left by someone named Removed Youtube name~DerBear This comment said that Homosexuals don't desearve basic human rights and are incapable of love. That's obviously a bunch of bullshit. Heres the real problem that im having right now... I grew up thinking that i didnt hate anyone except for history figures like Adolf Hitler. I think I hate homophobes meaning i hate people who hate gays. There are quite a few homophobes. Basically im saying that i hate millions of people for their beliefs. Is it wrong to hate them? I mean yes, their beliefs are terrible but should they be hated for it? Theyre their own person and I hate them for that. Am I a bad person? :(  :( :( :(

It's unrealistic to think that you'll grow up hating nobody, especially once you develop your own ethics, beliefs, and opinions. As far as that goes, there's really no right or wrong - your morals are your own. Maybe it's not the most admirable thing in the world to hate homophobes, but it's understandable nonetheless, and I'm sure you're not the only one.

You aren't a bad person. Hate is such a strong word and hate takes a lot of energy and I think you've got better things to do with your time, talent and energy. A lot of people are consumed by hate meaning it impacts their mood and makes them less content.
If the fools you found on youtube wanna hate on a group of people, let 'em hate, but don't get sucked into they think or behave. Life is way too short and there is a lotta great stuff on youtube that isn't hateful.

I hate homophobes too. This one girl told me that god hates fags, and i got so pissed off that I told her, fuck you, and fuck god. But, I think she kind of deserved it, even though it is pretty harsh.

An intolerance of intolerance is being pro-tolerance.
A hatred of hatred is being pro-love.

I agree with Drew5 Hate takes up way to much energy. I don't know about you but I got better things to do with my energy then waste it on some Itiot I don't even know.

Of course you're not bad! Homophobic people disgust me. Disliking them is not wrong, it's our own right and choice. And those people who are like "yeah I love God but God hates fags" are hypocrites! Bible is bullshit! God and Jesus said that we should love each other, no matter what. Bible is a book that priests created to propagandise the "different" and make us hate it. That's my opinion of course. So, homophobes are some morons who hate the "different", just like racists, fascists, etc. It's your own right to dislike/hate them or not.

You aren't a bad person at all. Seriously you aren't.
I respect peoples beliefs (well most of the time) and its normal to dislike some people for their beliefs. Its natural.
Hate takes energy though and honestly, do you want to waste energy on people you hate? Why give them the time of day?
Lastly you can't physically hate someone until you've met them or read "a lot" about them. So you don't know who you hate, you can generalize it like you have but you don't really hate them until you meet them and discuss this with them or until they bring up their views.
No point in hating people until you've met them or read a lot by them.

I don't think that's a bad thing, honestly. That you hate them. I do too, because they're treating other people wrongly. It's kinda like racism! I always accept people for who they are, whether black or gay or purple or orange or blue with fuzzy mittens and a hedgehog strapped to their head. I really don't mind -- unless someone hates someone else for who they are. Then, as my way of balancing out the universe, I hate them. XD Like, I hate racists (I have a black girlfriend, so I'm extra-protective), and if they treat black people bad, I treat the haters bad.

Oh it's perfectly okay to hate homophobics. Maybe being a homo is altering my opinion here but as my girlfriend says "A homophobic is just a fancy word for an asshole."

I say just forge about them. They aren't hurting you so why bother. If some person is just going to he in YouTube just to write some bad things about gay people them by all means, ignore it. But it's not hate your feeling hate is such a big word that too many people use today. Hate just doesn't have its meaning anymore.

I don't think you actually hate homophobes but just hate their beliefs, which is okay to be against their beliefs.
