I honestly think every human being can do what they want but Rihanna and Chris just need to give it a rest. That is nothing but tainted love. What do you guys think? I love Rihanna and her music but she just sets herself up for failure. They new song "Nobody business" is my song though.

Rihanna's an idiot for getting back together with him, but whatever, it's her choice.

I hate how record a song together called "Nobodies Business" when they make their relationship everybodies business by being in our faces all the time.

Right that's why the song is funny. She's so stupid for trying to give that another go when it didn't work for her no other time. Hey whatever YOLO

I agree! What can I say... I guess Rihanna is another stupid girl. Chris is a douchebag. They will fight again, but hey! it'll be "nobodies business"... I loved Rihanna, but I must admit she's and attention seeker... (cant call her a whore :P)

It's been nearly 4 years since the "incident" happen. And if she still can't get him out of her head. Then I think what they have is true love. And people need to just respect that they love each other still.

Guys, I found another mastodon! (http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mcrvbz9u3b1rg3221o1_400.jpg)

I think that Rihanna is a product of a society that conditions women to believe that violence is a display of love. Think about kindergarten boys pulling girls' hair, and the girls being told, "Oh, he just likes you. Boys will be boys." Think about the fucking Twilight franchise. These things become internalized. Chris is a jerk and I can't believe he even still has a job.

I'm sorry, is that meant to be an insult? Because I don't see what might be wrong in suggesting that it's not smart of her to continue seeing a man who abused her. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your post.

What's wrong is that this abusive relationship does not exist in a vacuum. All our lives we are shaped and influenced by the culture around us and the culture we live in right now is very sexist. While, in a cultural vacuum, it wouldn't be smart, Rihanna has both grown up in this society that teaches women to accept abuse all their lives, and may or may not have been conditioned by Chris.

What do I think? I think this is the music section, not the gossiping about attention-whoring celebrities section.

That's understandable, I suppose. But we also live in a society where we try to stress to women that abusive relationships are toxic. It's all quite complicated.
