Friendzone or potential girlfirend???

Mixed signals again..
Dear community, I've been slight friends with this shy girl for about a year now, we recently started hanging out more often and subconsciously I have been flirty with her. She responds well though cause when we watch movies she is very cuddly and we send each other sweet texts but I get really mixed signals! This is tearing me apart cause one second it feels like she literary wants my tip but the other second she acts all "we are just friends". I bought her birthday present to "seal the deal" She got me one back but I only get more mixed signals. We are both 17 and she never had a boy in her life so I'm a little nervous about how she might respond if I make a move. Should I go for it?

That is true. I cant say what you should do but I would take her on a date then see where it leads. How weird can it get just by taking her out to eat and hanging out?

I have been in that situation before. Be persistent and take her out to dinner or something. Show her that you really like her (or love her) and if she's sending you these mixed signals, there's a chance that she may or may not say yes. Worst thing that could happen is her saying she's not ready for a relationship. (If she's 17 and not had a boyfriend in her life before, that already gives an idea on that)

Although, it would be best to get a girl's opinion on this one.
