In my community we have a permanent Christmas tree, and the first Sunday of December every year it is officially lit and that's how we begin our Christmas season. I went and I met this guy there, (name withheld) he was pretty nice although significantly older (24) but hebseemed a bit off. We exchanged numbers ( I don't think I was being flirtatious and I couldn't perceive flirtatious behavior in him) and he texted me saying he's in love with with me..we just met last night. Im seriously creeped out and he threatened to kill himself. No cclue how I can handle this.

He's probably just trolling with you. I mean he doesn't know you personally e.g. he doesn't know where you live and you don't know where he lives? He is probably one of these people who do this for a re-action from you. I've noticed this before in a few people who I knew before school they used to do similar things.

My suggestion would to be, if possible, block his number. I don't think this is a cry for help because he just met you and you said he was acting shifty. He can't love you just after a short and normal exchange (you said their was no flirting from both of you) so I'd say he is just messing with you and is probably doing it for a reaction.

I'd block his number and then put said meeting in the past. It isn't worth it.

He is either a creep or a troll, I think he is something between, a mildly creepy troll, ignore him, do not let his words touch you, he is lying, if he is spamming you with calls or messages, report him to the police. They can easily trace him. Or you can go to your telephone operator and block his number, and forget that you ever met him.

report him or block him or both. or reply back and pretend you're someone else and have no clue who he is. he'll think you gave him a fake number at the christmas tree thing. you can even tell him that. "dude, you were scammed by that girl. I'm a 38 year old guy." heck tell him your a 38 year old cop or district attorney or deputy.

Anyway, whether he's a major creep or he's just fucking with you, block his number and forget about it.
