Is it normal to start talking about marriage and living together before your relationship takes a serious turn?

I've been with my girlfriend for a year (Remembers previous post I made) and over the past year our conversations usually fall on the topic of getting married or living together.

So I want to know what you guys think. Too fast, too soon or is it okay?

I got my current boyfriend's attention by yelling we would make beautiful babies. Then we got closer by talking about living together, having like 56 kids, how we'd be married in the snow. We weren't serious but time to time now we still have those conversations.
So yea, it's pretty normal in my eyes : D

Depending on how serious you guys are in those talks, it could possibly maybe be too soon.

You can have those talks, they're fun, as long as you both are in the same spot when speaking of it. Like you can't be all ready to make it happen and she can't be joking, you've both got to be on the same page or someone may get annoyed.

I believe at the moment we're in the same spot since we're on MSN most of the time we begin using laughing emoticons and all that to take out the seriousness. So I believe it's not serious, but sometimes the conversations are dead serious. So it's kinda a neutral thing there because one time its not serious, the next time it is dead serious.

And in all the conversations we are totally in the same boat. We're both 16 so I dunno what to think with some of the conversations on these two topics. But it seems she's serious in wanting to live together though.
