Thanks. Well, it started simple. She (Stephanie) started poking the boys in 3rd grade. After about a week, she switched over to just me. I hated it along with her at first, then I got used to it. I started to like it, and then started looking at her during class. I sometimes caught her looking at me too. We's barely knew each other. Then, in 4th grade, we had an assembly. I sat next to her. It was an Anti-Bullying thing called Rachel's Challenge. After it, Steph said she wouldn't poke me anymore. Inside I was devastated, but on the outside I said "Okay." We started talking to each other in the hallways while waiting to switch classes, and we even got in trouble a few times for it. We became close friends, and my friend and I were the only ones in the grade yo have a girl for a friend (it was a lot of sexism back then). So, in 5th grade, we found out that we liked each other. What happend was, one day I was absent, and she asked one of my friends if I liked her. He said the true answer and she said that day she almost died with happiness. The next day, I came back and my friend told me the story. I was worried out of my mind at first, but when she flashed Me a smile in the hallway, I realized that it was good that she knew. At recess, her friends tried to force her to tell her that she likes me, I stopped them and she was thankful. We talked about it in the hallway and she suggested we pretend it never happened, I nodded, even though we both knew that was not going to work. The news travels fast in our grade, so everywhere people were saying good job, and teachers were smiling when they saw us sitting next to each other in D.A.R.E. On Valentine's Day, I gave her a card that was sappy, but not to much. She gave me a Valentine too, and later during the VD party, she came into my homeroom (we were in different classes in 5th) and started to talk to me. Going in the other room was against the rules, so I was on my guard. I think I would have gotten my first kiss, but she had to ho since my teacher spotted her. 6 days after VD was her birthday, I made her a necklace and a card, and sat with her at lunch. On my Bday, she made me a necklace and a Harry Potter card sorter. Things were smooth until May, when I had to go yo GA for a week. I got her a bracelet from there and she gave me a Harry Potter card deck. Then during the summer, I emailed her mom and asked if they wanted to have a family dinner at our pool and they said yes. I added Steph's mom to my email contacts and we set up the whole thing. I did this so our parents could meet each other and since I hadn't seen Steph in a while. It was great, and I emailed the next day asking if Steph wanted to go to the zoo. She said yes. I had to ho with my parents, but otherwise, it was great. The next day, she asked me if I wanted to ho the aquarium. I replied yes and the next weekend we went. It was great, I had lunch with Steph's family after. We were in the same class in 6th grade and things are going great. I'm going to give her a story for Christmas and I have already figured out Valentines day. That's it.
