~so, this girl who rides my bus. we just re-connected this year and we have grown to know eachother. she even invited me to go to a rave with her. but alas, my dad wouldnt let me go. so she invited me over to her house. then, she had to cancel because her parents went out. then she invited me to see a movie with her the following weekend, but then she canceled cuz she was sick. she then proceeded to do the same the next week. that brings us up to last week and she was riding the bus again. and she was way different to me and it is really upsetting because i like her a lot. she is just the most genuine person and nice and we have a lot in common and idk what to do...

Yep, that's basically the best thing you can do mate. Calmly ask her what keeps happening and whether she's interested in you or not. A few moments of bravery is worth your troubled curiosity being sated IMO.
