today at school during p.e i went to tackle someone and was kneed in the balls hard as the guy fell over.
I got home and realised that under my left testicle was a small lump (as if part of my testicles had broken off)
is this possible? can they 'break'. it still feels sensitive, and at the top of my ball is a small sort of blue/black bruise...
DO I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR???
if so how can i tell my parents?

If it doesn't go away within the next day then tell ur parents
what happened at school and what u think might hav happened
to ur balls and they will most likely understand. ask them if u need to see a
doctor and if u do, do it quickly.
good luck

Its probably a bruise, as free2bme said, but it could be something worse. I doubt its anything horrible. If it feels different or painful, and that pain does not go away within a day or two, I suggest telling your parents; and even if there is no strange feeling or pain, but there is an awkward color (discoloration), and the color doesn't fade, I suggest telling your parents and going to a doctor.

I would go to the doctors' to be on the safe side, you can't be too careful with injuries like that.

Ouch man! >.< I agree with Rok.My.Sox, you can never be too careful with injuries to an area like that. It's possible it may just be bruising or maybe inflamation, but I would definitely say go to the doctor just to be on the safe side. :)

A testicle can't "break" otherwise you'd be in extreme pain. I doubt you would need to go to a doctor but the best thing to do would be to put an ice pack there. If things don't improve or if you're concerned tell your parents what happened (just exactly how you told us here) and I'm sure they'll take you to the doctor. But try the ice pack for a few days. That area is sensitive and when you get hurt there, it's not pretty.

I would have like killed him after I regained consciencnus. But I think you should see a doctor too becuase that area is to fragile. So schedule an appointment.
