I dont know if yall are gonna agree. So many people thinking my cutting is the problem, others cutting... Its not. The problem is everything else, the problem is what is making me go to this and fucking cut!

I actually agree with you.. I don't think it's the cutting or the person cutting the problem but the situation of all the world that Fucken leads to the cutting and suffering of the world. That's just my view on it since I am kinda one.... A cutter

Well, from my point of view...Cutting IS the problem. It's a problem that's caused by other stuff, usually with inability to cope with problems in school, family, life, etc, emotions, abuse, and so on.
It is a problem, but there is always a cause, at least at start.

You are right but not. Cutting is a problem, its bad! But its not what is causing you emotional pain, what is killing you from the inside, what hurts you not physically. It does, but its what I, others do to cope, to feel good for a few minutes.

That's pretty much what i said xD
As i said, it's usually a way to cope with things, that you can't for one reason or another. It's caused by other stuff/problems, at first. After a while, it may became a habit, and one may look for any reason, even insignificant, to cut.

Ok yes I do see how people can say it's a problem and can become a habit but the true problem lays behind the deeper meaning of the scars. And yes it's much better to stop but it can be hard with the things around you happening. You just have to work at stopping it

Exactly. But solving the problems that are the cause of cutting, probably won't help to stop cutting, cause there will always be some different problem, or something.Until one doesn't find a different way to cope with things, It's pretty hard to stop cutting, even if the problems that caused it are long gone.

I agree that the problem is what causes you to cut... but cutting becomes a part of the problem because cutting can be addicting..

I completely understand. I only have 3 people that know about me at the moment as i hide my cuts with heavy clothing. The cutting isn't so much as a problem, more a temporary solution. It's having complete control over something. The guilt of having people tell you to stop makes it worse for me and i feel that sometimes when people back off for a while i go for almost a week without cutting.
Hope this helps

In my a opinion cutting is a problem, but its caused by the problem(s) in your life that make you turn to cutting. If you stop cutting, you'll still have the problem that makes you wanna cut, if you stop the main problem you'll stop feeling the need to cut. Just my opinion
