Photoshop on Mac

Alright all of you technically inclined geniuses! I am wanting to make a signature picture for VT. What are some tools in Photoshop that I could use?
(examples: Placing a image into a letter, gradient, layering. ect.)

If I were you, I'd use Illustrator - it's more geared towards creating graphics rather than editing them.

There's a million things you could do! I suggest looking up some tutorials first to get an idea of what you want it to look like. As far as text goes, there are tons of effects you can use as well as filters, gradients, and patterns. Get creative with opacity and layering. But, firstly, I suggest looking up tutorials. There are tons of great ones online.
