One of my family members has just been reported to have a tumor in his lung - and it's incurable. Everyone's been really distressed but there is a little hope I've been clinging on. I heard that despite how the supposed "lung cancer" is incurable, it can be treated. We have yet to find out what stage is it but he's in the hospital and everyone's losing their shit, including me.
It's a pretty big blow and all since the only problems with him in the past few days were fevers and exhaustion and a freaking tumor in the lung is pretty unexpected.
I just wanted to confirm with you guys that lung cancer CAN be treated, right? Even though it's dependent on the stage? Can I be given more details? I just guessed with a little more information that comes early which I can possibly use to comfort them would be ideal.
P.S. The person with lung cancer is 70+ in age. He has hardly grown any white hair, just to let you guys know. So, yeah, that's how unexpected this piece of news is.
