I have just turned 15 and have not started my periods yet. I know that i could still start but i have had a few girly chats with my mates and a few have them have already masturbated. :eek:

I dont feel i should masturbate because i havent started my periods and i think it would feel wierd.:(

Im asking you what it feels and like and if you think im ready if i haven't started yet. :confused:

There's no problem with doing that because masturbating doesn't affect your period. I say you should do it :P Some guys masturbate before they can even cum. So with that said, why should you not? It feels good, it's a good stress reliever, and you have something to do while you wait for your periods to start :P

Masturbation doesn't effect your periods at all, so you're able to go ahead and try it you want to. :)
And also, don't worry that you're 15 and you haven't gotten your period yet, people go through puberty at different ages (usually between the ages of 9-16), sounds like you could just be a late bloomer. :) You should start getting them within the next year or so.

As everyone else said, masturbation doesn't effect your periods, and if you haven't had your period yet, you're probably just a late bloomer, although I think a doctor can help you out with that, but I wouldn't worry.. yet.

Yeah while masturbation won't affect your period, it WILL affect your hymen. That is, if you insert anything. I actually think it's better if girls start to insert things (even just their fingers) because it will make sex less painfull your first time.

i heard that sex does hurt the first time but that the third time is the best you'll ever have, is this even remotely true???

I don't know about the third time (how could you know if it will be the best, the guy could suck :D) but generally yeah, it might hurt the first time. Most girls bleed a little, and that's fine. But that's why I said if you exercise strenuously, or actually "go down there" yourself your hymen will already be opened so sex might not hurt at all the first time (or at least hurt a lot less).

When I first had sex, I automatically started my period afterwards. I always waited a while between when I had my first, second, third, and fourth time. After the second, it does not hurt as bad as it did the first if you do it almost automatically afterwards. If you wait more than two months or so, it feels like the first time, but with less pain and no blood (if you bleed your first). Usually though, if you masturbate or anything before you start having sex, you will still be in pain, no matter how often you do masturbate. It all depends on how your body takes things, though.
If you are having sex with someone you really care about and really love, it does not matter how bad they are or how bad it is. All that you will care about is that you are with someone you really do have feelings for other than "OMG! He is sooo hot!"

Well, there's no right answer to this, of course. Everyone's different, and everyone responds to their sexual needs differently.

There's no prob masturbating before you get your period, it won't effect it at all. But, if you haven't gotten it, then you aren't so far along with puberty that you are maybe that interested in it. Maybe thats why you don't have the desire? With time (and hormones), the desire will increase. And note, that's girls sexual response is very different than guys. For us, it's very immediate and powerful. For girls, it's far more complicated, so using guys experience with masturbation doesn't really help girls, they cannot always relate to the immediacy and urgency of it. So, for them, 'just doing it' doesn't always work.

I am 13 and haven't started my period yet but I've been masutbating for about 6 months. It took me a few months to figure out how to have an orgasm. Not sure if you figured that out yet. If not as good as masturbating is without orgasming, it is 5x better now that I do.
