Getting Over an Ex

Hey, this is my first post in VT and my girlfriend of offically 4 Months just broke up with me yesterday. Though we had been on and off agian for a year and after before that.

So i want to know how have you gotton over an ex? And what can i do to get over her?

Try and do things to distract yourself
Avoid feelings/memories/ or triggers that will remind you of her
Maybe when you heal try and focus on someone else
try and talk to close friends or family. Try and get close to other girl friends
we may move on eventually but they always will share a soft spot in our hearta
