Me and a friend are currently in a serious situation as our friend was texting us about how she is going to kill herself.

She claims that my friend (not the suicidal one) cheated on her even though she didn't (they haven't been dating for a while). This information was falsely given to her by another girl she knows. We are trying to convince her that this never happened and she needs to just listen to us, but she refuses to. She says we can't change her mind no matter what and she is going to do it. I tried calling her earlier and got voicemail then left a message with no response. She was texting my friend, but she stopped and hasn't responded in 40 minutes.

We are extremely worried that she already did something, but we are hopeful that we may still have a chance to stop her. Does anyone have ANY advice that may help us? Literally anything helps right now no matter how small.

I can't deal with another suicide in my life and neither can my friend.

You need to either go to her house and see if she's ok, or call the police, or hell tell her parents! if you're worried, then go see if your friend is ok. This is really serious!

As was already suggested call police/ paramedics and send them to her place
Call her home. Maybe shes just thinking about things
Don't jump to any rash conclusions right away because she might be fine
Or you go to her house yourself

Just an update.

She is fine, a few cut wrists but alive and that's what means the most to me. Thanks for the help.

DO NOT CALL THE POLICE AND DO NOT TELL PARENTS! All teens have those thoughts some more than others. Just be there to comfort. Everything will work out.

Calm down and call the police. they will take care of it. Or do what my friend did with me, go to the house, pretty much break down the door, and stop her.

I was concerned because she has actually attempted this more than once.

I was concerned because she has actually attempted this more than once. You need to make sure that she doesnt attempt it again, do this by texting her at least once a day! Snitching her out will cause her to freak out and be nervous about people thinking she's crazy... Just keep the situation nutural. You can do it, so can she

Call her parents if you can.
