Im curious... But why do girls part their hair off center? Its not in the center but its not on the side... I mean everyone does it now it seems! I use to part it on the side but its to long so I do it in the middle, I could pass with it off center but Im curious as to why not the center?

It's good to change things up every now and then, and it just happens to be a trend these days. In another year it'll be something different. At least the Snooki hair has passed it's prime.

When you part it in the center, it draws attention to your nose and makes it look bigger. At least, that's why I don't part my hair in the center. When it's off-center, it makes your eyes look bigger. Optical illusions 101.

Ohh! You seem to know alot Alex... But yeah I dont have a big nose and with it parted in the middle it doesnt seem to either for me. I have a issue of I dont have much of a bottom of my chin. My face doesnt look short from the side but I have a well seen jaw line but a short chin... It bugs me at times but eh, my hair covers it anyway so I dont care.

When my hair's in the middle, I look like a very angry box. My eyebrow shape give me a "bitch face" and really puts more focus on my angry eyebrows. And with how it's an even balance of hair framing my face, I look like a box.

By having it off center, in a zig-zag pattern even, I can partially cover a bit of my eyebrow and have a "curtain" of hair on one side of my face. I like how it covers part of my jaw, unless I push it back, and leaves the other exposed to show the shape of my face.

Plus, when my hair is natural and the curls are going everywhere, it prevents that dreaded upside down triangle look.
