No, I don't believe that anyone makes money from this forum. It is totally not-for-profit, and the people who work here all volunteer their time and money to help keep this forum running. I hope that answers your question!

Nope. Anthony (Maverick) its the site owner I believe and pays the server and other fees out of pocket. He has said although its manageable, he wouldn't mind a donation system, but every time that is brought up people want some recognition that they have donated, like a special title or something, which would only foster bad things, so we have not established one.

What has been said is correct. No staff member makes any financial compensation for their time here on the site; we volunteer our time, and the site is non-profit.

If the site made money, and wasn't a registered charity, it would be classed as income for Ant, and he would have to pay tax on it.
So most donations would end up going back to the Government anyway..

not only this... But most forums run free.. Only for us youngsters to communicate and share our thoughts... Thtas why forums are for.... But they site owner must pay some cash for the domain... But thats low if that dude has a biiiig pocket!! :p
nd mostly... The dudes and girls working as admins and mods are selected only by their participation and their wish... And they work here for free.. Its not working... Its actually kind of enjoying your free time... And vt is great to manage coz the guys and girls out here are probably of the same age... And if you bump into someone interesting.... Duhh.. You can offer them a private message... Irrespective of their position.... :p

very interesting (maverick ) own's this site I read this before so he foots the bill how old is this site and how old was he when he started vt ? I'm going to look to see but is he still a member to .
