Hi everyone. I plan on recording myself playing Minecraft for a Let's Play on Youtube. The trouble is I'm having problems finding programs that record the gameplay with live commentary. I am aware FRAPS and Taksi are both very awesome programs, but from what I've seen you can only add in narration after the gameplay. Do any of you guys have suggestions on what program I should use? It has to be free. Thanks for reading!

You don't need to add the commentary after you recorded your gameplay using Fraps.

Under the Fraps "Movie" tab, select "Record External Input". This will record your default selected microphone while Fraps is recording. http://speedcap.net/sharing/screen.php?id=files/2d/87/2d874dbdb05311ee8a5e994218ca6a2f.png

(Your default selected mic can be found under the "Sound" tab in your control panel)

Hopefully it helped!

I just use hypercam, record voice with an ipod at the same time and then edit it on top. Not very high tech but w/e. :P

Do some searching and I guarantee you will find it free. YouTube is a good place to start
