Hello, as of late I have been having many family issues, I just feel like no one cares, I barely even get to talk them. Between that and my poor work in school, has just been too much for me. As of late I have been considering many different things as stress relief, but everytime I think of methods to help releave some stress, cutting and suicide continue to creep into my mind! I've read an article that stated if u are uneasy while u are awake, u may sleep walk more and possibly do things you have thought about doing but never did end up doing. Ppl have done many different things while sleep walking including rape, murder, and take their own life. I am scared I will end up taking my life, somebody please help asap! I don't know how long I can fight these urges

it would be better if you had a close friend or a councelor that you can trust to talk to. If not I'm a good listener and be willing to talk to you.

The first thing I would tell you to do is try and calm down some. While you are awake, do NOT, by any means, try to cut yourself. Because it may be a release, it may relieve stress in a way, but it becomes addicting very, very quickly. And it is very easy to cut too deep, or to hurt yourself more severely than you think you are. Now, as for your fears about taking your own life while sleepwalking, while it's possible I find it unlikely that it would happen to you. However, I would still definitely recommend going to see a counselor or therapist and talking to them, telling them everything that's been going on and overwhelming you, and your fears. Hopefully they will be able to calm your nerves some, and then they will help you in the best way that they can. They are trained to give advice and help people out in situations like these, and they can do it much better than any of us can.
