Period Smells?

Okay so I'm on my cycle right now ( IT SUCKS:(:mad:) and I always have trouble with the vaginal smells........Will a "little" bit of baby powder help the smells? :what::what: What will work?any tips?:confused:

shower regularily.. change whatever your wearing more often pads/tampons
babypowder will cover up the smell but it will get caked to the blood and discharge and make a nasty smell. my tip.. keep your area clean and shaved.. no hair.. no cling ons... no smell good luck

Are there scented pads or something? I feel like I've seen them, or that they at least exsist. You could try one of those along with LilMarie's advice, unless I'm imagining some fake pad. If I'm just making things up, ignore me : D

Pads make u stink! U sit in ur own discharge, tampons and girly spray works well for me. I hear douching is a good method as well?

Pads only make you stink something fierce if you're wearing and changing them wrong, and not cleaning yourself properly. Yes there's build up but it's no different from a tampon absorbing it and holding it inside of you. Just that the blood is exposed to the air and can waft around. My period is like an ocean, it floods so tampons are out of the question for me unless I'm swimming. I take care of my hygiene, and I've yet to smell myself and say damn I stink.

Smelling good while wearing pads and avoiding foul odor can be done.

Changing you pad more often. I usually carry around summer's eve wipes or at least baby wipes with me esp when i'm on my period to freshen up. Tampons will help too if you feel comfortable with them.

Start using tampons that should take care of the problem
