A guy names Andrew, that I have none for a short time, maybe four months, wrote me a secret poem. I know it came from his heart and he even told me he loved me after he sent me the poem. I do like him. More than I should, for only knowing him a couple of months.
He's been hinting he wants to be in a relationship, but I just think it's too soon.
Am I just being silly or should I go with it? Options... please and thank you. :)

And here's the poem:
I know a girl that can warm a heart in a heartbeat.
Make you smile with the kind words that she speaks.
A kind of person that’ll be there in your time of need.
Oh, yes, indeed.

I know that Hannah is going to be fine in the long run, so the next time she looks in the mirror she better smile, ‘cause she’s a beautiful one.
I can sense the pain of her past, but I can feel the strength of her heart and she gets passed it.

I know a girl that can warm a heart in a heartbeat.
Make you smile with the kind words that she speaks.
A kind of person that’ll be there in your time of need.
Oh, yes, indeed.

Hannah’s got herself a golden heart in a very bronze place, Hannah’s got herself some sweet tendencies.
And I know she has enough love for anyone, just incase they’re in need of loving.
Hannah’s got herself a pretty cool attitude, Hannah’s got herself a really kind smile.
And I know she would do anything for you to make you feel worth while.

I know a girl that can warm a heart in a heartbeat.
Make you smile with the kind words that she speaks.
A kind of person that’ll be there in your time of need.
Oh, yes, indeed.

Hannah, dear Hannah, thank you for your kindness.
Hannah, oh Hannah, I appreciate all of the sweetness.
You’re one of a kind, a real diamond in the rough.
When you look in the mirror next time, smile, because you are more than good enough.

I know a girl that can warm a heart in a heartbeat.
Make you smile with the kind words that she speaks.
A kind of person that’ll be there in your time of need.
Oh, yes, indeed.

I know a girl, yeah, yeah, Hannah.

Maybe if you think its too soon - you have to go with how you feel.

Be friends - and enjoy if that is ok -

If you think it's too soon to be in a relationship with him, then tell him no. Go with your gut feeling on this--don't be pressured into something that you aren't sure you want, especially something as serious as a relationship hun. It's clear to me that he likes you, and that if he truly does love you as he says, he'll be willing to wait another month or two so that you two can get to know each other better. If he's not willing to do that, then he's simply not worth the time and may have only intended to use you to begin with. From what he wrote and what you've told me though, I think that he really does like you and that he will be more than willing to wait a little longer. Just do NOT, under any circumstances, let him pressure you into being in a relationship with him--because that is unfair to both of you, and it's manipulative of him to even try to do to you.

By the way, I think he did a wonderful job on the poem :)

I'll take your advice. Thank you. :)

I agree with all of this. I talked to him and explain that I wasn't ready to be in a relationship, but if he was willing to wait, I was willing to try when I was ready.

He did do a good job. This was the first time anyone has written anything specifically for me and I just thought it was beautiful. :3 thank you, by the way. :)

I'm of the opinion that it's rarely too soon for a relationship between two people that are mutually attracted. When you form a friendship, then progress to a relationship, nine times in ten, that friendship is over, even if the relationship ends amicably. It is definitely too soon for him to be telling you he loves you.
