Hey guys,
About a month ago, my good female friend (we're not dating and we both think we shouldn't) gave me this drawing she did, but didn't explain it.
What does this picture make you think of? Does it remind you of anything? Im just curious. What meanings are behind it?4947
Thanks guys! :)

It appears to be a woman holding hands with a shadow. First I would like to say that I like how she made the shadow, and I think she did a marvelous job on drawing the hair of the woman. Now, I like what seems to be the message behind the piece, although I don't think it is something that is aimed towards you at all. I see two ways it can be interpreted: The woman is either holding hands with someone who no longer is there physically--whether they moved, or passed away, etc. Or, she is holding hands with the "shadow" of someone who has changed dramatically, so that all that is left of their old selves is but a mere specter of what they used to be. I don't think she had any sort of ulterior motive in giving you this picture, I think it was just that--a picture. She may or may not have had a reason to make it as well, but I think that the implications of a meaning within the drawing are very intriguing.

If you are looking for meaning on a personal level - one question did your friend draw this for you - with you or your freindship in mind.
Could have been drawn before you met - could have been drawn to portray something else - a book or film maybe.
It is I think a good drawing - and she is talented but tokens or gifts on a personal level - between friends - its sad you cannot ask her.
