Working on a million things?

Has anyone had that moment when your working on about 5 different things at once and you don't know which one to work on. Ya I'm having that moment right now.

Is this a lack of discipline or five completely unrelated activities?

Try making a promise to yourself. "I can't work on X until I finish Y." I have loads of unfinished stories sitting in word documents, but how many at least have a beginning, middle and end? The one I just wrote in thirty days. Not even the ones I worked on for two years are done.

The modern age thinking is that multitasking is efficient, but we're fooling ourselves. It isn't impressive to multitask, but it IS impressive to finish everything you take on. And I'm saying that as someone notorious for just not finishing anything.
