i dont get how guys can b so nervous wen they talked to girls. almost all the post saying that guys are nervous. i never got nervous b4 even if i liked the girl. mayb its b/c that i have 2 sisters and almost all girl cousins???

Most teenagers tend to take relationships too seriously. Don't bother looking that up, it's just what I think. Kudos to you on 'keeping your cool'. A lot of people have trouble with that.

I'm the same with Trigger, I have trouble speaking around girls, especially those I like, out of fear of rejection. I'm afraid that I'll ruin my chances of not only going out with the girl, but ruin the chances of her respecting me. I'm afraid of humiliation as well, I know a couple of guys who have asked out girls who would be demeaning in their reply and do things like make fun of the guy, telling him no way in hell, you wouldn't have a chance with a mannequin, stuff like that, I'm afraid that I'll screw up, so I just avoid the possibility of screwing up by keeping my conversations with girls that I like to a minimum. Some guys have trouble speaking to girls, some don't, and I'm not sure having two sisters has anything to do with it, I myself have a sister (although she's already through college), but she's still around, and I do talk fine with her, but again, different people find different things hard, and different people have different point of views, and perspectives. Some people don't really think about certain things when they're talking to girls, others are self-conscious and overly aware of their actions, trying to avoid saying something stupid, and in the process looking like an idiot.
