What are the advantages/disadvantages of shaving you ass/around your anus?

Cleanliness - Obviously if there's little/no hair around that area then you're going to be able to keep yourself clean a lot easier. Not to be too vulgar, but nothing will get stuck in the hair.
Comfort - Some people find having hair around that area can be uncomfortable, removing the hair will remove the problem. That said, some people get very irritated by shaving and if you're like this you might want to avoid doing it altogether or make sure to shave regularly.
Pleasure - If you're recieving anal sex or masturbating anally then having little/no hair around that area is going to make everything more enjoyable, for you and your partner. He's not going to have to fiddle around with hair to get it out of the way or get hairs in his mouth, if you're into that kind of thing. Getting your own hair pushed into you is not a pleasurable experience.
Style - Might seem a bit odd, but some just don't like body hair in general. You'd know if that was you though.

It's easier to keep clean, and a more comfortable for me. I've never had anal sex, but I imagine it makes that a lot more pleasurable too. I can't really think of any disadvantages, other than if shaving irritates you, it'll be a bit uncomfortable, though I've never had that problem. The only other thing I can think of is that it can be difficult to shave if you're not very flexible...which is why I don't shave it as often as I do my pubes. Other than that though I can't really think of any disadvantages.

Disadvantages are probably only going to be the risk factor of cutting your butt (if you use a regular razor and not an electric one).

Don't do it, it's there for a reason. And after you shave you get a rash and it hurts a lot. I'm never doing it again.

Something I found out: if you are hairless, you can't let out any "silent ones", they'll always be loud D: As far as advantages: if you find it aesthetically pleasing, go for it....but be safe. Getting cuts and nicks from shaving around your anus can lead to infection. D:
