Hello! First off, sorry of this isn't the right section to post this in... nothing else really fit for this non-general type of thread  Anyways, I plan on getting a Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle in the next month or so, it's around $5K which is like $200/m as my price. I've been looking around for insurance which was my main concern price wise, and found this... Progressive! But, I'm wondering, is this REAL?
It says $86, with $49 down payment. Or a $86 one-time payment with no future payments. That's $86 yearly insurance, is this correct? There is no real coverage, only $25K bodily injury coverage which isn't anything big. This is basically just like paying for proof of insurance? Or am I missing something and completely getting this wrong...

If anybody could tell me if this is right please say :P I'm new to this.

Yes, that would be real insurance, especially if Progressive actually lists it :P As an insurance company, they can't really list packages that are fake, under penalty of law. Now, like you said, the only thing it has is $25k bodily injury. It's the very basic package they have for motorcycles, and as such they don't intend to charge much. Yes, it's basically paying for proof of insurance, but you do get that added coverage in there. Now, if you get a ticket, or DO get in a wreck, you can expect those insurance rates which, now, are minute, to go up probably quite a bit, as they always do in those situations. So no, you're not really getting it wrong either, it's just not a whole lot of coverage.
