Here's my story:
My first girlfriend and I dated for about 3 and a half months. We were really close, and I think I could say I might have experienced first love. But then, at the end of our relationship, she started to not talk to me, ignore me at school, and before I knew it, she broke up with me, and immedietly moved on to another guy. I was heartbroken, and depressed for a long time. But eventually, I just pushed it aside, and I thought I'd moved on, especially since I've had a few girlfriends since. But I noticed I just never felt the same for the others as I felt for her. And now, every time I see her, there is still a place in my heart that breaks every time I see her. I don't want to feel this way. What can I do? :(

I can tell you one thing that pain won't go away for a long while, trust me. But, thats a pain you will experience more than once in your life. When you love a lot you lose alot, its all part of life. The only thing that you can do, or what I did, is just move on and keep trying to find that perfect girl.

Time will heal all wounds man.
I experienced the exact same thing, me and this girl were together for a little more than 2 years. She just completely dropped me like if we were nothing. She became a real flirt. I would see her everyday and my heart would hurt. I really thought I loved her, and I really did. But stuff happens man, just let time pass.
Unfortunately this is the only advice I have since it's what I did.

She hurt you remember that, but I can understand where you are coming from. My current girlfriend broke my heart a long time ago but me and her as happy and as in love as ever. As for wanting to forget her just wait it out, time heals all wounds, or find someone that will help you forget her. It will be hard trust me I know but if you find that person just right for you will forget about your ex, about all your problems.

That feeling of connection to her is oxytocin dawg! Can you try to talk to her about it. I know it'll be awk, but just do it, and you'll feel alot better.
