View Full Version : Vaseline as Lube?

I have tried using Vaseline as lubricant when masturbating, but found that it is a giant pain to get it off my hands and penis. I used it once before showering so that I could use soap to clean it off (Since it is oil based I think), but even then it took forever.

For anyone that uses Vaseline, how do you get it off?
If you don't use Vaseline, What do you use?

I tried Vaseline at first, and your right it does take ages to get off :/ if you want to, buy some water soluble lube from the supermarket or somewhere like that. It's better than Vaseline and washes off as soon as you are in water. Hope this helps!

I'm only 15 years old and don't really want my parents to know about me masturbating. I usually use hand lotion, but I don't really like that either :/

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Vaseline is the best that you can get easily at home, maybe if it doesn't bother you just leave it on there once you've finished and let your skin absorb it?

Yeah vaseline is hard as hell to get off, even after I took a shower, the vaseline was still on my dick and it still felt like it was on my hands.
It takes a while for that shit to get off.

I recommend jacking off dry, or using a lubricant that will come off easier.

Yeah, That's what I have been doing :P
And, I can't really do it dry because I am circumsized. I mean I could, but it would hurt... wouldn't it?

I'm circumcised and I do it dry like 99% of the time.
It doesn't hurt, and personally I prefer doing it dry.

Oh, I have tried it dry once, but then my hand started sweating and it got sticky. So I gave up.

I don't use anything. But sometimes, rarely. I'll just use anything that is like lotion.

The easies way to get it off is that if you take a shower afterwards rub you penis and hands with shampoo it works for me since i use Vaseline as lube in the shower.

Yes, it will likely damage the condom and potentially expose you or your partner with a std....Only use water-based lubricants. But for j/o, Vaseline is fine..yes, it is a bit messy, but for a long stop-start experience, it holds up with a very small amount and lasts for a good long session...just rub the remains of it on your body..legs, arms, feet...it's very good moisturizer and no biggee...I have used it since my first "lubed" session...it rocks....

Yeah, as Sdude said, Most oil's and chemicals destroy the rubber that condoms are made out of. That's why they say not have have sex in a hot tub or pool.

I usually jack off dry or use my precum as lube. Or I put body lotion on my penis and balls to get it lubed up. I can just wipe it off with toiet tissue. And it gets your balls less ashy. I hate that.

I think vaseline is a decent lube. Cleanup is a bit annoying, but I usually just wait for it to get absorbed instead of trying to wash it off.

Never tried Vaseline but did try hand lotion which is okay but a mess to clean. Use shower-gel in the shower, easy cleanup and makes it smell nice :)
