Try using just enough so that it's wet, but you still have enough friction to cause pleasure.

Personal preference! Whatever works best is ok. Just as a general reminder, though, it's always good to read the ingredients and make sure there's no 'alcohol' in it, or anything that you cannot pronounce or otherwise figure out. That way, you'll be better assured that if/when it gets into the opening it cannot burn, sting, or irritate you (Note: That means all soaps, shampoos, conditioners are no nos, even if they are tempting).

If you use it as soap it's soap, which will irritate your urethra if it gets inside.

yes most cleaning products or soaps have sodium laureth sulphate. even though you can probably pronounce this, you probably don't know what it is exactly, or what it is like by itself, so it counts as a weird chemical, like hriaojvgrsunfaeklw.
(that isnt a chemical i just cant be bothered to go copy some long chemical off some soap.)

even if it is approved by skin and is skin friendly and is hypoallergenic and stuff remember your urethra is not skin

Well it depends really on what you like, i put a tiny bit of Vaseline on, just enough to make it slippy.

I've tried like everything you can think of, like aloe vera, but not vaseline, I've never even seen it in a store D:
