Pushups, lifting weights, bench press, p90x, sit ups, crunches, etc. You name it, I've probably already tried doing it.

Best way do 1 min crunches(hardcore crunches/fast paced), 1 min russian twist(legs up and bend ur knees 90 degrees from legs and then twist your body make sure you are looking where you are going), and then 1 min plank. There are tonnes more core workouts online but best way is do three minutes of three different exercises then wait a min or 2 then do a different three

Well you say you've tried, but did you stick with it? It takes time. Make sure you're getting protein. And puberty does play a role, your body has to mature to a certain point until you can really gain muscle.

Maybe you have been trying so many things its like nothing works

so Abs - some fat around your stomach will hide what you have so do you have any to lose -

Also as you just walk around tense your abs - then relax repeat - swimming is good especially free style - do not rush exercises but make sure you do what you do properly - get the full movement of the muscle.

Also added weight can be good if you can say hold a weight to your chest

as you do sit ups and hold - I lie on my back with my legs up the wall

hold a football in my hand stretched out behind me as I lie - crunch up
bounce the ball off the wall 2 times back down - as you build up you can bounce ball more times keeping the tension in the abs -

My six pack is just shy, so it hides behind my fat.

Your body has to reach a certain maturity before you can properly build up muscle, it's just your age - it will get there, don't worry.

Unless you need abs for your acting as a visual aspect, you don't need abs. There is nothing else that abs do.
If all you need is core strength, just because you don't have abs doesn't mean you aren't strong in your core.

You won't have abs by Thursday *facepalm*

Abs take a long time to form. You need to do a variety of different exercises, and cardio as well. Abs can come with three decent ab workouts a week, if you're doing it properly. If you are just one of the people who do 100 crunches at night, it's going to take a long time.

Abs = 60% diet/40% workout.
Form an ab routine or get someone to do it. Couple if with other workouts for other muscle groups (chest, arms etc) and especially cardio.
The other workouts will help muscle show elsewhere, as well as burn fat and work muscles.
Cardio is magical for abs, it not only works them but it also kills fat.
Finally, watch your diet. Go for high protein diet (perhaps with (ONLY) a protein supplement - don't to anything too dramatic at your age) with low fat. If you're working the muscles, carbs aren't much of an issue, but don't slam carbs down.
And drink lots of water, it works the metabolism.

Well a good way that i concocted is watch tv and during comercial breaks to sit ups and when the show comes on stop @ next comercial break try to do more than what you did last time and after a few start the score over
