Ok I need evry1's help on this one. I have been thinking of starting a band but I'm not entirly sure about it. Now since most of you probably know I'm a Genesis fan and more than likely I'll start a tribute band named "Invisible Touch" what do you guys think?

Well I don't know much about it but I do know that you need talented people, equipment, and pleanty of practice!

Wait, I'm confused.. Do you already have equipment and willing bandmates? (Friends that can play whatever instrument you'd like, whether it be a guitar, drums, etc.)

Nope I got nothing. I'm going to try next year to get one started during the summer. So hopefully I can get really talented ppl with me. Please give some band names to. I think that "The Invisible Touch" will do pretty well.

its not an easy task. just some friends to take lessons or get people who like the same stuff as you to play

Well I'm not sure. I'm trying to start a tribute band for Genesis. I can't really do something else. Genesis is my life!

Well I currently have a practice drum kit. I'm hoping that for my birthday I get the real thing.

I am also open minded for some other bands like AC/DC or even Journey

Well.. I suggest firstly putting up an advertisement in your local music shop window advertising a band.. State your influences and age range e.g 13-16...
There are very few tribute bands who get recognized.. and if you are serious about the band.. then well you haven't got much hope... So i suggest playing covers of some of there songs... that way you can vary what songs you would like to play as a band..
