Is it normal for gay guys to have girls they love!?

Well I'm deffinitly gay XD There is a lot of evidence to that ha ha, But my bestie Kelsey, Not sure whether it has been our friendship of 14 years or i geniounly do like her, But i get jelous of other guys with her, I am iffie with guys she dates and i know if i was straight she is the girl I'd want to spend my life with, Is this normal for gay guys or, Am i.... Different :P

well no theres nothing wrong with you... you just strongly care about this girl.. shes very close to you and you dont want to see her hurting. i doubt you have actual feelings for her.... its probably just a real closeness type thing you have going on there....

the likelihood is that you love her in the sense that she is like a sister to you. I know that even though i am gay, i have a friend that i love and always have since we met 14 years ago, so it is possible. the people we care for and love can get confusing :P But no, nothing is wrong and everything is normal :)

Well I am not gay but I will give some insight.

Do you think you might love her as a friend or even like she is close family? Maybe its you being protective that makes you feel "iffy" as you put around the people she dates. She's your best friend and you might be feeling that if a guy is to date her that she might stop spending time with you.

It isn't anything abnormal so don't worry. But I thought I'd raise this point. It could quite possibly just be your own personal fears and protective feelings for this girl that makes you feel iffy about the guys she dates. Also you might love her like a friend/close family. As you know yourself your gay. So I think it is probably just more of a "I love her like a friend" or close family and that this is just your maternal instincts kicking in when you see this girl with other males.

It is perfectly normal to be attracted to anyone, even if they are not the gender you prefer. Maybe you should tell her how you feel and see what happens. Sometimes we don't fall in love with genders, but personality.

To me this sounds like the love I have for my bestfriend, she is everything to me I genuinely don't know what I would do without her, but that is because I love her like I would love a sister, I think what youre feeling is that kind of love and you want to protect her from everything bad that might happen to her, and its not jealousy its worry :) You have nothing to worry about you are "normal", there is nothing that isnt "normal" when it comes to love I think.

Guys this is stupid i know but you have no idea how much your answers made me smile,It just sounds so cute and adorable! And it is weird i never thought of such a simple yet logical thing! And to see there was 2 people who are the exact same for me, Thank you :) And yes one time she dated a boy and well, After they broke up she loved him and she says she doesn't but i know she has feelings for him still, Anyway, After they broke up she said she cut once or twice, So yeah, I guess i am worried she will do it again, Thank you so much again for your answers! :)
