I enjoy college: the lessons, the people etc. but I find myself, on a frequent basis, lacking motivation to even catch the bus in the morning. I'm doing well at my subjects; I'm predicted A's & B's, so I'm doing something right, but that something isn't my attendance.
Any suggestions for what I can do to motivate myself to get up in the morning and looking forward to my next day at college?

Thanks in advance! xx

Well, this won't neccessarily apply to you, I think of my future job, of my future family, and how If I don't do well enough early on I could become a failure, and I really don't want that. Also a good song to wake up to and breakfast helps.

Thinking of your future is something that can motivate you like the person said above. I mean if you think about it thinking of your dream job and achieving it, think of how happy you might be.

Also try thinking about what your life would be like if you didn't go to college and were stuck in a dead end job doing the same boring thing everyday. Ya know, you'd kinda feel a little sick and tired and board. Plus your lucky your at college, your doing well.

So try to keep your chin up and go for it because the world is what you make it and your future is shaped by you and only you.

Good Luck :)

Me too - I am not very motivated at school - but just see it has a way to the future I want - so that is one way.

Maybe there are other things - like do you get rest and sleep or is your morning - routine kind off -

I always make sure I have everything ready clothes laid out

books and school stuff ready

and so on just ready to go --
