Well, I don't know what to do. I just found out my girlfriend has severe depression, and I don't know what to do and I'm Really afraid she might kill herself and she is on this weird med that I don't know what it is and I'm just really upset and confused and just don't know what to do right now... I'm felling depressed myself....

The best thing you can do for her is to just be there for her. Talk to her when she's feeling down, and when you're feeling down for that matter. Make sure she knows how much she means to you, and how devastated you would be if anything ever happened to her. I know what it's like to feel the way you do, but I also know what it's like to feel the way she does. And to be honest, having someone there is the best thing that can be done at this point, if doctors have already put her on medication. Once you give the medication time to kick in and begin working, there should be a bit of an uplift in her mood as well.

Thanks, I'm trying to be there for her, she's just really freaked out and I'm afraid she might do something before the meds kick in..
