What do you think?Do parallel universes exist?
Personally, i think it's possible...but anyway, it would be hard to really prove it.

This question isn't able to be answered accurately, as physicists are still boggled by this question. They are though, working diligently to discover an answer.
My personal belief is that yes, parallel universes do exist. What has caused be to draw this conclusion is einstein's 'soap bubble' example.
Picture our universe as a soap bubble. All of our interstellar matter such as galaxies, stars, planets, nebulae, etc, are all contained inside of this soap bubble. Have you ever been blowing a bubble, and notice the bubble splits into two separate parts, forming an entirely new pair of bubbles?
Well, this theory should hold true for the universe. Our universe (or any other universes that may be out there) are able to essentially 'give birth' to another universe. However, two universes could also collide, forming an entirely new universe that was made up of two separate 'bubbles'. Some scientists use this theory to describe the big bang, however there isn't any solid proof.
Now with all of that being said, it could all be total shit, and physicists could be wrong. There's no way of knowing if this is true or not, as there are currently no ways in which the hypothesis can be tested.
Ps - if this program mentioned the soap bubble theory already, forgive me, as i haven't seen this episode and do not have 42 minutes to spare.

Well I'm personally from a parallel universe, so yes, yes they do exist. I can send you proof but you'll need to advance me the shipping fee, which is regrettably expensive owing to the energy requirements in breaching the coterminal horizon.
But yeah, seems a viable theory to me. Many concepts in astrophysics suggest validity to a great deal more dimensions than are traditionally accounted for, and from what I understand those would give these parallel universes a framework to coexist in.
I'm not convinced about the (quite old) theory about divergent universes based on divergent outcomes along a timeline, which seems to require one or more duplicate universes to be created out of nothing each time an event has the possibility of multiple outcomes.

Nothing more add to this, parallel universes most likely exist, there may be so many that my twin may be out there

For all we know we could be atoms of a single cell. That single cell could be a human skin cell and there could be an innumerable amount of others. Our entire solar system, universe and galaxy could be part of a cell complex and space could be the ever so tiny crevices between each molecule and cell in said complex. We could be living atoms within a cell, that cell could be a single atom within another cell, within another, so on and so fourth. Or better yet, maybe there are cells with living atoms that have the same complex working in reverse. The whole concept turned around focuses on everything getting smaller instead of bigger. What if there are "people" thinking the same things and asking the same questions in that strange "parallel universe" that they may happen to call home. Is this possible? I think it would be too ignorant to say no to. Do I even believe what I said? Probably not! But I do know that the big picture is very, very big and I don't think that humans will ever see the whole thing.

in a way i think so
i dont think it really follows the scientific idea of parallel universi
but i think there are many other worlds other than ours

there have been FAR too many coincidences in my life for me NOT to believe parallel universe(s) exist.

Very platonic. But yes, I believe so. I mean we exist. Therefore other variations of us and our actions must exist.
But then again. 8 Billion people.
Having muliple variations for each persons life.
The number of galaxies would be astronomical. (pardon the partial pun)

Maybe. I think if they are real, I don't think they're 'parallel' as in they're opposite of our universe but I think that like the bubble theory our universe is just a bubble floating around others. I think that each universe is generally pretty similar.

That is quite a theory you have there! I have thought of similar ideas in the past and like others have said - it is virtually impossible to prove. For all we know someone could be asking this very same question on a site similar to VT in a parallel universe?

It's possible, but so far, I don't think anyone has a way to test that hypothesis. I they do, there would be no way for us to interact with any of the alternate realities.

Obviously I don't know any more than anyone else but I think it's really possible. As science advances we seem to learn more and more about what is and what could be so it seems plausible that other universes exist.

Ok ok i still didnt watch the vid or any of those kind :P
But heres my theory....They do exist...And those Black Holes in space are like gateways to them....freaky shit is going on all over our planet...So why wouldnt that be possible....As the Black Hole inverts Time and Space....Why wouldnt end of it lead to another universe....That may be where aliens come from aswell :P...And again we could be nothing....Maybe one Galaxy creates some kind of being....Like Bacteria to us....And the entire universe would be their world....We could be just some kind of neutrons in an atom....This entire world could be a dream of some sort...Or a video game that people in parallel universe play....Or "nothing" does exist....

I watched several Nova shows about parallel universes and all that stuff...I guess they can exist, it's just really difficult to prove they do..

In theory parralel universes exist. and the only way to prove it could to built a machine that can transport us to them, which is virtually imposible with current technology.

It's not just impossible with out current technology, it would go against the laws of physics. If parallel universes do exist. We can't interact with them. We would have to infer their existence based on some observable phenomena, but we could never go there.

If every possibility exists in an alternate reality than there's a reality where the idea of alternate realities has never even been thought of. In the same way there would have to be a reality where someone in that reality had a complete understanding of how parallel universes work. What would stop that person from interacting with other parallel universes? Not sure if I explained my thoughts all that well but hopefully you get the picture.
