Anyone already went through a growth spurt?

Hearing "growth" spurt, i normally think of height, but what does it actually consist of? wider shoulders? more masculine face, etc?
I'm 5 foot 7 and 16, and i feel as if I'm going to be the one who's going to grow later.

Some guys in my class already look like adults, although idk what they look like when they're young to compare changes.

I already have: pubes, underarms, voice change, and got a bit taller about 3 inches and dick grew a bit, but my face still looks like when I was young.

How fast does a "growth spurt" usually take place?

I'm nearly seventeen and I am only 5'6". By the time people reach seventeen they have usually finished their growing and will remain at that height. I am taller than both of my parents and so it is extremely unlikely that I will get any taller. I don't really care though, height doesn't really matter.

Don't worry about it, I'm nearly 18 and in the same boat and along with lack of body hair I've always looked like a kid compared to my year group. I've not had any major growth spurts for a while but I am steadily growing. Although I've got a small build I've worked hard on sports and training so I've got good tone and strength so I feel fine about how I look. Bruce Lee was about our height, so its possible to look great (and be a genuine non-hollywood badass) and not be tall or bulky with muscle.

Normally growth spurts are referring to height, but you will also put on muscle and breadth in your upper body in particular. Puberty is also associated with fat gains to the belly and backside in boys. Not every guy does all of these to the same degree or at the same time. There are guys who I've seen after the summer holiday and been amazed with how manly they've suddenly become. Other guys are still tall and skinny and have been since 14.

It can suddenly happen that you shoot up in height though. My boyfriend (16 in March) was my height at the start of the Summer and had been for ages, he's now about 2 inches taller and counting.

you need to base your height on your parents not your friends for after all that is where your height is defined.

im pretty sure i went through my growth spurt, beforehand i noticed i wasnt as skinny as usual, and this was because i had put on a small amount of weight to prepare myself for my growth spurt, its natural, took several months
