It's really not difficult, I think it comes naturally for most people. Don't worry about it and just do what feels right. Likelyhood is you will do fine without any guides am stuff like that

I breathe. I am a breather. I just find it less attractive to hold your breathe, then stop to breathe or gasp like a fish.

But it will come naturally and you'll find what you're most comfortable with.
