There are a few medical things that could be wrong, but most LIKELY you're just fine. If you're worried about it, you have to go get checked out by a doctor

I get that too sometimes. It's pretty normal. It just means that your heart is pumping very forcefully, either because it's getting stronger, or it's not used to the new weight you're at, or something along those lines. You're probably fine.

If you throw up a lot, or have stress it can be caused by that. I have it often just to the right of my belly button.
Don't mind me. Just passing through.

Your abdominal aorta is directly behind your stomach, which is most likely where the pulsating feeling is coming from. This is the largest artery in your body, and supplies blood to all of your major organs. It's totally normal to feel your aorta - or stomach - beating.
Pain in this region is commonly associating with intestinal distress, such as trapped gas. Once you notice the beating of your aorta, you probably started to get worried as to why you were feeling this sensation, therefore increasing your heart rate, which then intensifies the feeling of your aorta pulsating. So it kind of goes hand and hand.
Next time you feel it, don't be worried about it. However, if the feeling becomes more and more noticeable, and starts being associated with pain, i would recommend telling your gp. Just to be safe.
