Hmm this has been suggested a few time before, but we've always said that it can go in the White Padded Room. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Two trains travelling at different velocities heading towards each other will meet...

I agree with Andy, it should just go in TWPR. Unless there's like a sudden swarm of people begging for help on hw, there's really no reason to make a forum for it. I don't think I've ever seen a single thread asking for hw help. So yeah, if the need for it ever occurs, I'm all for it, but there's no real sense cluttering the forums with something unnecessary.

Well that can be particularly hard for certain calculus and trig questions, but I'm guessing that only a handful of people here know how to do those things.

I agree with Valerie and Andy, if you have any homework questions, just post them in TWPR, and I know that some of my teachers, such as my English and my Creative Writing teacher search google to make sure we didn't plagiarize our poems, stories, etc., and if I posted something on here they'd think I'd be lying if I told them I had an account on here (since there are googlebots on VT). So yeah, I guess posting math questions or science questions is okay, but you could probably get help from a teacher or even through google or a different search engines. Its usually easier to help someone with their homework in person. I've been sort of tutoring one of my friends over the phone and it hasn't exactly been working... he got a 59 on our first test...
But yeah, I don't think this needs its on section/forum, any homework questions (math/science/social studies[history],etc.) could be posted in TWPR, and any English questions/Creative Writing questions/etc., could in the Creative Writing section of the Art Room.

Maybe we can make a thread somewhere where people can list there expertise, on anything, not only homework. That way, if you need help on something specific, you can PM a person.

If there becomes a big demand for it, then someone could make a diary, but until then TWPR or PMs will cover it.

A+V-[Y]*2.5=??
I think the answer it A+V-(2.5Y):P
Anyway, as said above I don't think we have a demand for one. Although if were business people here, a demand for one could be created very easily... sorry I was studying marketing earlier.
But anyway I think we are fine as we are. However if we suddenly get an increase in questions and all that jazz then we can certainly look into it more.

I don't think this forum would ever be necessary.. This isn't a website about homework, it is for helping people but people can ask this stuff in their diaries or chat, or directly from members..
So a forum for this would be un-necessary in my opinion

I say yes because eventhough it could go in TWPR thats not the first place I would put it in and then i would get in trouble and i would rather avoid putting a homework question in some help and advise section. but anyways yeah just make one. it wont hurt anything.

TWPR is for anything that doesn't fit anywhere else really, providing it isn't spam.
