I continously have this argumemt with the people in my class and people at work...
Which is better, PS3 or Xbox? And why?
Personally I think PS3 is better, but then I've grown up always having a playstation. And i dont like Xbox controllers...

ps3 is a better and more reliable system
xbox 360 have constant problems with their networking and hardware
like red ring of death... happens easier in an cbox where as yellow light of death in a play station is harder to get..... i am not sure how it happens in a ps3 but simply in an box it happens just by overheating anf ps3 dont overheat because sony was smart when assembling the machine.... the new playstations are better however..
i dont like xbox machines because they scratch disks for easily.. where as the play station machine cd console is inside therefore creating a stable placement for the cd... you could leave the cd in the ps3 and carry it around and move it... maybe even drop it and the cd still wouldnt scratch... where as a xbox the cd tray pops open....
i think xbox needs to get more creative with their machines like play station did. its no wonder psn and play station alone make more money :) but thats just my opinion
i have had 2 many xbox machines and i loved them and thought they were all that until i found ps3 and i feel inlove.... and havent really touched an xbox since
my 10 year old sister loved my bfs ps3 so much she traded her kinect xbox for a playstation.

This is part of my like for the PS3 as well. The Xbox is more expensive as well. 60$ live is crazy.

Yeah, I agree with you and the people above. I've always played the playstation systems and they're reliable and fun, and I definitely prefer the PS3 controller over the XBOX one.
And the PS3 is just more advanced too, the internet search works great on PS3, and the PS3 also plays DVD's and Blu-Ray movies, amongst other great features.
So overall, i'd have to say the PS3 is way better than the XBOX.

PC. It's still the greatest gaming platform out there, and you can do much more with a PC than just playing games and watching movies like you can on the consoles. :P
Though given a choice between the two, Xbox 360. I like the feel of the controllers better, and games tend to be better optimized for it.

PS3 has better exclusive games. It is a Blu-Ray player. That is enough for me. Also the online is free.

I'm a Playstation person. I'm not going to get into a technical comparison because I don't know enough about either system, but I just like the PS3 more. The sleeker look, the menu, the exclusive games and the BluRay. PS3 takes the cake.
