I am a design student who is currently trying to design a product that can help those that self harm deal with stress and distract.

The product at the moment is a credit sized card that:

Bends ( similar to stress ball)
Lots of textures to offer sensory expereince
A ball/wheel to spin click (Fiddle with)
Section to bite, get teeth into
Section to dig nails into
Small enough to have in wallet/purse/pocket

What I would like from you guys is:
A. What do you do to ease distract you from self harm.
B. Any positive or negative feedback on the design and features.
C. If you had a device to help distract / de-stress, What would it be like / have?

To get a better idea, here is a link to an image of it:

Thanks guys.

*This is not intended to be an advertisement, Just would like to hear feedback from people who it would help most to design a better product so hopefully something like this could be made.

A. I tap something, either with my fingers or a pencil.
B. It seems pretty small for all those features. That would be difficult to do.
C. A dot on it, like a target, that one could focus on (like meditating sort of.) Or one of those psychedelic "moving" still images, the optical illusions.

A. I write some poems, listen music
B. I like the Section to dig nails into xd. It's a lovely ideia but, as Mortal Coil said, it's small for all those features.
C. Something that i can put my nails unto xd

Thank you for the feedback guys.
All sound like good ideas, Ill give them all a go and see what comes from it. Back to the drawing board.

Remember the crazier the idea the better.

Thanks :)

A. What do you do to ease distract you from self harm. Drugs, even tough it's probably worse
B. Any positive or negative feedback on the design and features. I don't think it would help.
C. If you had a device to help distract / de-stress, What would it be like / have? I'm not really sure.
