If you are talking about drugs then i would give it a 1.5-2. They haven't really affected me(yet) but they've made a small difference in my life, from acting stupid in for t of friends to running away from my problems.

I can keep mine under control, but my mother is an alcoholic which led to a lot of my mental health problems. So a 5 for me.

5. I struggle most of the time, but with the amount of addiction that runs through my friends and family, it's always right in my face

Drugs have seriously affected me in second hand way. I watched one of my friends lose 90lbs in two months because he took pills instead of eating and one of my best friends takes hydromorphs and drinks heavily. I ended up having to help take him to the hospital because he started choking on his vomit and turned purple. Even though it was not me who was taking the drugs it is hard to watch people do that and to take care of them.

They've affected me in a good way, but unfortunately a very moderately good way. I literally do not have the money to get properly drunk, because apparently I'm just stupidly tolerant to alcohol. I had my first straight liquor last weekend. I drank half a liter of 80 proof tequila in about four hours and got mildly buzzed. The bottle cost me 20 bucks and didn't even last the weekend.

Ehh I'd say +2, as in they actually had a positive effect. Weed makes me relax, gets me really creative, and helps me introspect.

I'd say 3. Most of them I had no problem, but there was the stupid night here and there and a bad few months that affected me a few ways.

I think this is a five for me. I've never been too involved in drug use myself, I always tried to stay away from using them personally but I grew up around them, my dad was a dealer and both of my parents were users. My house was raided more than a few times growing up, my dad went to prison a couple of times and I've seen illegal drug use most every day of my life, so yeah, my life was largely shaped by them, even if I didn't take, smoke, snort or inject them myself.

I put 5. It hasnt affected my life all in negative ways. It's changed mostly for the good and opened my eyes to a new way of thinking. So 5, i definitely wouldn't be the same without them.

Probably a 3 for me.
They have caused some problems before ( mainly addiction to alcohol ) but it hasn't been too bad, but it has had some negative effects on my life.
