This is a continuation of a thread I just would have loved to have posted in. 1/10 how homophobic are the people where you live?
5/6 here. If this were a larger, less friendly town it would be more like 12.

At least 7.5 to 8

I live in Florida which is a pretty blue state in some areas, especially in my city. In my school, though, there are a lot of very religious people so it's a mixed batch. Plus, I'm not too sure if I can count those people who genuinely don't like gays or are just pressured by others to do it so they won't seem gay themselves. I'll say 4-6/10

I'd say a good 6 or 7

How homophobic are the people where I live? Well, I've heard multiple people say that gay people don't deserve to live and should all be killed, so you tell me. I'd rank it at about an 8

where i live? it's ABOUT 3/10. most people don't care. it's cool here, i mean they still snicker whenever the topic gay marriage is brought up, but i don't think many people are really opposed to it.

I would say roughly between a 4/10 or 5/10, where I live it is a bunch of Catholic Italians, and I go a Uniform Catholic school as well, I have had debates with my religion teacher on why gay marriage should be accepted. I would think about coming out to my friends and community if it were a little more accepting and calling other people "gay" and "fag" wasn't said at least 100 times a day, but what are you going to do?

Probably about a 2 or 3 out of 10 where I live, most of the adults are fine with homosexuality, but most of the kids/teens here are immature assholes and give gays a rough time.
So actually overall i'd have to say 5/10, beause the adults here don't have a problem with gays, it's usually kids and teenagers.

I would say 3 by me. Whenever I talk about gay marriage people usually agree that people should be able to marry whoever the f**k they want and not have to worry about sexuality. There is still the same rare teenage ignorance that they think that different then them is wrong, but I trust society will eventually change their beliefs to be more liberal. Especially in a heavily blue state.

Probably an 8. The government is so homophobic that gay sex is outlawed, but on a personal level people are fairly accepting. It's pretty saddening.

Well, it depends. My school is probably about 1 - 2 but the LGBTQ population is very small, or at least the out of the closet ones. There's about a handful amongst 1000-ish students. The general population of my city seem to be pretty chilled so 1 - 3 for younger generation, probably 2 - 4 for the older, but my city is also known as the city of churches and has religious nut-jobs protesting against gays in biggest Mall, so obviously they'd be a 9, other than spewing their beliefs everywhere, it's not really doing any significant damage that I'm aware of. The only people who listen to them are the people that already agree.

Like a 1/2. I haven't dealt with homophobes in a while.

Probably a 9.5 where I live in Nebraska. If you're gay here, you'd want to keep it to yourself.

8.5. Half of us in Illinois are rednecks (not Chicago) and the other half are yolo idiots with redneck hearts. Rednecks don't like people who aren't straight.

I'd say 2/10. I'm so glad I live in the Bay Area, because everybody's so accepting here. I've yet to run into any major homophobic comments. Of course, there's the jokes, but it's really not that bad. It's either that, or people who don't really care either way. I'm glad to live here, and I feel that coming out publicly wouldn't be hard for me to do.

8 or 9. It's legal here, but that doesn't stop the general public from being homophobic :(

5, I suppose. There are some very accepting people, but I do come across a lot of people who are quite homophobic.
