So I finally told the girl I had a crush on I like her. When I told her she said "ok cool, thanks for telling me" and started talking about another subject, she wasn't nervous or anything. I really want to get to know her more and possibly go out with her, what do I do or say???

It sounds like she was trying to let you down without hurting your feelings. If she changed the subject quickly, it sort of suggests that she was uncomfortable. Maybe you should ask her how she feels about you, and let her know that you still want to be friends if she doesn't feel the same way.
