so latly my cuts have been getting pretty deep, was talking to my counsellor at school today about them and he asked me to show him so stupid me did, now im really concerned he will tell someone like the deputy (who i really respect and look up to) or worse tell my mum. i had to go to the office with a friend at lunch after my conversation with him and i heard my depty on the phone talking about someone who needs medical help and possibly put in hospilat im really hopping its not me but there is a hugh part of me that its thinking it was about me but that can just be my aniexty coming though... he kind of gave me a look to said that they r some of the worse he has ever seen.
so i guess what im asking is how do u know if u need stiches and do u think he would of told someone and if so what will they do??

as for the phone call, im not sure.

As far as if he told, like Laur said, he has to out of legal obligation. That's not saying the phone call was about you, but they're just trying to help.

Now, how to tell if it needs stitches? Well, one of the biggest indicators is if you can see any sort of fatty tissue, it needs stitches. Usually it will need stitches, or at least steri-strips, if it's deep enough to be past the first layer of skin.
