My grandma just passed away litterally minuets ago from lung cancer. Luckily she went peacefully in her sleep. The doctors said 3 months so I wasn't prepared. Really it was 3 weeks. At least it was in her living room surrounded by her husband and daughters. I'm not trying to make you fell sorry for me. The only people other than family I've talked to about it are school counselors and I don't fell like they cared. But if you did read this thank you for taking the time to do so.

Obviously you were close to your granny. It's really cool that she worked at having a relationship with you. Today; many families are spread all over the place and many times kids don't get to know their grandparents very well; if at all.
I know it won't help right now.....but I think that in time you will notice that in some ways she is still with you....you will remember things she said and places that you went...stuff like that. Rather than being the upsetting memories that they might be now...they will become comforting.
Thanks for sharing your feelings with us. It's what makes VT what it is.

So sad - I hope you can feel a little better and I sad to that right when you needed school counselors they were not really there for you.
My Gran died last year - I still think about her everyday - I still cry some nights as well - I think the worst thing is like that feeling of helplessness and all the grown ups know what to do -
It takes ages to get over it cos it affects all the family -
