Did I mess up again??

Hey so i think i messed up....

I met this girl online back during the summer time and we talked on facebook all summer long....she lived in like Alabama and I am in NY. Long story short she told me she liked me like 3 weeks ago and i told her the same, so then we decided to get together and have an online relationship. Turns out its harder then I thought. I am not new to this type of dating, since my last girlfriend was from England! Anyway, it's just getting really hard for me. Here's where it gets crazy. I told her a week ago that I loved her. Yeah I know, too early to say that, and I havent even met the girl in person. I regret saying it now, because she hasnt messaged me in a few days, because shes been busy with school and honestly, shes that serious when it comes to needing some comfort or advice. I dont know, i thought we were gonna work out fine, but now I am not feeling much, I just dont know.
So there, I think I messed up, and went too fast. Now...what to do?????? :confused:

I've had my fair share of this kind of relationship and just based off of my experience its never a good idea to "date" a person that you haven't met at least once. Anyway, it sounds like you messed up it sounds like she didn't expect that and you scared her by it the best thing to do now is just takes some time to really think about it then NICELY and RESPECTFULLY explain it to her if you can if not then the rest is her decision to make.

hey thanks for the input! I forgot to mention, that she says she loved me too right after I told her, which makes it harder now because I dont want to break her heart! I'm too nice!

that does complicate things I would have that same problem but the best thing to do is tell her as soon as possible it'd only make it harder on her if you waited too long

I never think long distance relationships are good! They just never work out. It seems you have kind of rushed it but you need to be honest. If you want to let her down easy then maybe lay off how much you communicate so it creates the sense that you two don't speak much in the hope that she feels the same. But honesty would be best. Better to admit that you've rushed and misunderstood your feelings than carry on with something you don't believe in.

They arent the best relationships thats true! And sometimes I wonder why I do them still...lol! I think we both rushed it actually. She apologized today for not being on as much lately, so I was like "its ok..i guess" im trying to tone the relationship down a bit then go from there! I agree honesty is the best thing!
