Im in love with this girl and she has no interest in me ive been her friend for a long time try 10 years yeah thats a lot anyway i just want to know how to forget her a move on it just pains me not to be with her so i dont want to live in torment knowing she does not love me back so what should i do to not love her anymore :(:(:(

I wish you luck. Maybe it's for the best. Do you know she doesn't love you back. Has she told you she doesn't. My best friend and I of 5 yrs started dating a month ago. I don't know when I started to love him either because I think I always loved him and he loved me since the beginning, Even both our parents could tell in the beginning and neither one of us believed it at first til he asked me out. The parents said you will be together forever. Yes we both dated other people but nothing this serious. We even have said we wanna be together forever. It just feel right.

There is nothing you can do mate! There's no magical spell to simply forget your feelings. Sorry, that sounds patronising but I don't mean it like that.

Enjoy her friendship while it lasts but accept yourself that you will never be anything more. When you realise this, so will your feelings and you'll start to disconnect from her in that way.

Other than that, it just takes time but the best thing to do is convince yourself, and by that I mean your feelings, that she doesn't want you in that way.

Good luck. It's feel like hell but time will tell.
