Well, ive been injured for a while in my hamstring, so i had to stop lifting for about 4 weeks 2 weeks ago, we started back and only did upper body... but 2 days ago, we worked out again and he made me do some calf raises. We did a lot... too many actually. So the next morning i woke up expecting to be extremely soar, but it wasnt that bad. I did not do very much physical activity yesterday. Before i went to bed, i jerked off(idk if that could have effected it). But today, i woke up and i cant even stand up straight without my calfs sending a shooting pain up my leg... I cant walk without a limp and even then, it hurts... i already tried warming it up and doing a little activity, but as soon as i stop and sit down, it tightens back up again. I already iced it as well. Has anyone else had this pain before? and what else can i do to get it healed? also, does anyone have an explanation as to why its hurting this bad 2 days after my workout instead of the day after?

DOMS explains the 2 day thing that's delayed onset muscle soreness. I get it pretty bad after calf raises just sit it out and then if it doesn't fade soon get it checked out.

Sounds like who ever is training you pushed you too fast too soon with way too much calf work, instead of slowly breaking you back into it with a little bit of calf work that would allow you to recondition you're calves and slowly work back into hard calf work.

That must be sore - maybe some gentle stretching would help the pain
as well as maybe just take it easy -
