Hi, i used 2 b fine sleepin but latley i can not sleep i end up walkin round tidying up and watchin t.v it is takin its tol on me now as im so moody an depresed but i hide it any ideas on wots wrong wiv me ? Thanx

Has anything been bothering you or putting you under stress recently? When I'm really stressed out I can't fall asleep to save my life- one night I stayed up until like 4 am meticulously cleaning my room.

If you'd have insonmia.. I am sure you could beat my trips of 5 days of no sleep..
But all is possible.but yeah.. You need to be more detailed.. And what do you mean by ''I can't sleep''

I guess the occasional case of insomnia is normal, but prolonged episodes of it are fairly devastating to your health. For you, I would suggest stop drinking sodas and such for a while (assuming you do that) and perhaps turn off the TV. Just throw a pillow over your head, in a non-smothering way, and think boring thoughts.

hey um by the way i am new here but i have insomnia and i am usualy up without sleep for 4+ days and then i will sleep for 24 hours straight. if that happens to you you might want to get diagnosed, but besides that try drinking hot chocolate, or milk with a teaspoon of honey.

i used to suffer insomnia...id go like 4 days with no sleep and then a few nights id get maybe 3hrs...then after a week or more id crash and sleep for like 24hrs.
Anyway my insomnia was the begining of my depression.
After the insomnia came, withdrawal from friends, no apetite, no interest in things i usually enjoyed, anxiety etc etc and it just got worse from there.
while u only write about not being able to sleep, itd b good just to keep an eye out for any of the above developing, just incase.
see, i wish someone had warned me that insomnia was a warning sign of depression.
If they do develope, the sooner u recognise it, the sooner u get help, the better.
