Old consoles

Have any of you out there ever tried an old gaming console? Some times I play with my dad on his old Commodore 64 console. Looks like a clunky keyboard with a cassette player. :P The games are ok, but compared to today's standards, the graphics aren't much to write home about. :P Then again, good gameplay is more important than good graphics, right? ;)

I like playing on my Nintendo 64 and my Sega Dreamcast, but I have never played any of the real antique game consoles. I think it would be cool, though! It makes my inner Geek Show :D

I LOVE old consoles. I wanna get me an SNES and Super Mario World. I would play that for hours :)

Commodore 64 is not only a gaming console. It is a complete computer. Yes, it is very simple, but that was all the rage in the 1980s, and it was newest of the newest.
My dad has a C64 somewhere, I think it's at my grandma's house, in her attic or something.

I still play my brother's Sega Genesis. I have to say, I actually like it better than any xbox or playstation game I ever played.

Sometimes I like playing Mario kart on my Nintendo 64 if that is considered old.

Up until a couple years ago, retro consoles were my main bread-and-butter for gaming. :D I used to play my old N64 and SNES all the time, and I also brought out my Sega Genesis and NES occasionally as well. :) Also, even though they aren't quite as oldschool as the rest, I used to play games on the Gamecube and original Xbox all the time as well.

Unfortunately, I've lost various important pieces of my hardware over the years (mainly through lending things out =p), and even though I still have everything I need for a working SNES setup, I've been too lazy to root through my storage boxes and get it all hooked back up. :P

I still play a few oldschool PC games however. Lately Carmageddon, Worms Armageddon, and StarCraft: Brood War have been my main games, though I also enjoy stuff like Duke Nukem 3D, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament GOTY, Quake III Arena, and the almighty classic DooM. :D

Well sometimes I like to play games on my playstation 2, I don't know wht it is about the PS2 but games seem to be really fun on it.
I don't really think the playstation 2 is really considered that old, but yeah sometimes I like to play that.
